To celebrate Children's Day Week with lots of fun, MULTI Open Shopping, on Rio Tavares, in Florianópolis, prepared a free program with music, workshops and other activities. Furthermore, the first open shopping mall in the South of Santa Catarina Island will hold a toy collection campaign. Everything collected, between October 12th and 31st, will be delivered to Associação Pequenos Navegantes, which serves children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The activities begin on the holiday of Thursday, the 12th. From 10 am, the Play Workshop for Parents and Children will be held in the auditorium. The activity, which will be coordinated by the Pequenos Navegantes Association, seeks to promote a conversation about neurodiversity and the different ways of acting and thinking. The idea is to reflect and discuss about judgment-free play, in order to make the community richer in possibilities, and more inclusive. After lunch, starting at 14pm, there is kids entertainment and at 17pm, the Banda de Brincar takes the stage at MULTI square to perform nursery rhymes, papaya bull songs, popular Brazilian songs and games. After the band's performance, there is entertainment for the children and from 18pm there is voice and guitar with singer and composer Gustavo Barreto.
On Friday, the 13th, from 18pm there will be a piano and voice performance with Monalicia Kenobi. The pianist and composer presents reinterpretations of great MPB classics on the Praça MULTI stage, such as songs by Djavan, Hermeto Pascoal, Liniker, Luiz Gonzaga, among others. At 18:30 pm there is entertainment for the children in the kids space. Also on Friday, at 16pm, a Papaya Ox Puppet creation workshop will be held. The activity with limited registration is paid and interested parties can register through Sympla using the link available in MULTI's Instagram bio.
On Saturday the program starts at 10 am with the Children's Goods Fair on the Boulevard. At 15pm, the Painting Workshop with the artist Daisy Américo is scheduled in the entrance hall. At the same time until 17pm, there will be free delivery of cotton candy. The music starts at 18pm on the Praça MULTI stage with singer and composer Marcello Dornelles. In the voice and guitar show, Marcello presents MPB and Pop hits. From 18:30 pm there is kids entertainment.
On Sunday, the 15th, to complete the Children's Day Fun Week program, there will be a visit by Paw Patrol Characters along the boulevard and the distribution of cotton candy. Activities are from 15pm to 17pm. And from 12pm to 20pm, it will be possible to visit the Children's Goods Fair.
