Registration open for the 'Panvision Rally Project'

The Cinematographic Marathon, held at the Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosul International Film Festival (FAM), known as “Rally”, arrives in 2024 with new features and the first of them is the name. The Panvision Cultural Association remodeled the project and now it is called “Panvision Rally Project”. The second new feature is that the marathon is no longer exclusive to university students, it is now open to those who like cinema and want to learn about audiovisual.

Registration runs until July 31st and can be done free of charge on the Festival website famdetodos.com.br. The full regulations are also available on the website.

The “Panvision Rally Project” brings a series of integrative activities for participants, who have the opportunity to experience the professional audiovisual environment in an intensive week marked by connections, mentoring and hard work.

Young people between 18 and 30 years old, residing in Mercosur countries (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela and Bolivia) and their Spanish-speaking associates (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru) can participate. This year the organization will prioritize minority groups: women, black people, indigenous people, people from traditional communities (including terreiros and quilombos), nomadic populations and gypsy people, LGBTQIAPN+ people, people with disabilities and members of other groups in situations of vulnerability/sub. -representation in society.

30 participants will be selected and guaranteed accommodation in a collective room, three meals (coffee, lunch and dinner) during the marathon days, and for the first time, transportation assistance will be offered, equivalent to 50% of the ticket price. your city of origin until the Festival.

When registering, you must choose one of the six areas that most identify with your aptitude: direction, editing (editing), production, sound (capture and editing), photography direction (camera operation) and acting. The creation of the script will be carried out collectively.

The teams will be formed by the organization and will be revealed on the presentation day at FAM 2024. All those selected will participate in training lectures and have the challenge of producing a short film, of up to five minutes, within a limit period of 100 continuous hours between September 5th and 11th in person in Florianópolis. Throughout the week, participants have the help of professionals in the field and, at the end of the Festival, the films are shown in the Competitive Exhibition “Projeto Rally Panvision”, at the FAM 2024 Closing and Awards Ceremony.
