This Saturday (30th) is the day to travel to Italy and discover the life and work of the Italian artist Michelangelo in another edition of the project Virtual Museumss. O tour free will be broadcast by Florianópolis Cultural Marathon Youtube and led by the art educator Claudio Toscan. 

With works as a sculptor, painter and architect, Michelangelo sought eternity in art. He considered himself better as a sculptor and when he saw a block of marble still raw he would evidence the image contained in it. In painting, his frescoes on the Sistine Chapel ceiling reveal images from the book of Genesis, prophets, sibyls and wildebeest that show the vigor of the High Renaissance. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and is carried out with the help of tools such as Google Art Project.
