Online screening and debate of the film Marinheiro de Encomenda (1928)

Continuing the programming of the Show Public Domain, promoted by the partnership between the film clubs working at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), on August 18: the film will be shown and debated online "Order Sailor" (Steamboat bill), released in 1928 by Buster Keaton in partnership with Charles Reisner.

Movie Synopsis: Two boatmen vie for passengers on River Junction: Captain William Canfield and the mighty John James King. One day William's son arrives in town and immediately falls in love with Marion King, the rival's daughter.

The feature film will be hosted on YouTube and the link released on the day of the session, through the social networks of the cineclubs (click here).
