O Victor Meirelles Museum (Ibram/MTur) promotes a series of chats with professionals who work in different museums in Florianópolis. live broadcasts will take place fortnightly on YouTube, always on Wednesdays from 18h. The first live will be on March 31 and will be invited Cristina Maria Dalla Nora e Sandra Checruski Souza, from the Florianopolis Museum.
The inaugural event will circulate the themes that cover the institution's project, the formation of collections and museographic design, the museum's educational planning and performance, current challenges, the team and the management and financing structure.
The project
The initiative of the Victor Meirelles Museum arises with the aim of increasing the circulation of information about the behind the scenes of the management, communication and preservation functions of its cultural heritage and to dialogue about how the specialized works of museums are doing at this time of pandemic and social isolation. The project is called “Speaking of Museums – a chat between Florianópolis museums and their professionals".
The organization of lives is from the MVM technical team, under the supervision of the museologist Rafael Muniz de Moura and the interns Izabella Trindade Cavalcante e Vanessa Halmenschlager of the Museology course at the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
