One of Florianópolis' postcards can be visited virtually. Students of the Technical Course in Tourism Guide of the Florianópolis-Continente Campus of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC) recorded a tour Interactive from Fortress of São José da Ponta Grossa, in the North of Santa Catarina Island.
There will be nine episodes, released weekly on Sundays on the Florianópolis-Continente Campus on YouTube and through the IFSC communication channels. The first episode has already aired and can be watched for free on the channel.
The guide provides information about the dungeon, defensive system, cannons, powder magazine, chapel, lacemakers' atelier and much more. The videos will also be translated into Brazilian Sign Language (Libras).
