Monday (28): Pitching day and extensive film schedule at FAM 2020

At 10 am this Monday, the Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosul Film Festival (FAM) 2020, start the day with the 4th Mercosur Co-production Meeting and the beginning of a series of 24 Pitching, when film representatives need to introduce and convince the players, channels, sales agents and promotion funds about your projects in a short time. You pitching can be seen on the platform insaei.tv.

The students of Rally he has his first appointment with his tutors at 11:30 am, to talk about editing. At the end of the day, at 18:19 pm, they meet again to talk about the cut of the film, and then at 30:XNUMX pm the result of the first approved cut of their video clips is released.

The first live event always takes place at noon, and at 20 pm the FAM will be live on Facebook to comment on the fifth day of the event.

As on previous days, at 16 pm the filmmakers and the public will have a live debate on YouTube, and at 17 pm the WIP Show of films in development will begin. The day's attractions also include the Doc-FAM “Map of Latin American Sueños”, directed by Martín Weber and an Argentina, Mexico and Norway production. The documentary tells the story of the director himself, who is also a photographer and who for almost 20 years toured Latin America asking people to write their dreams and hopes on a blackboard.

O VideoClip “Temporal” is Brazilian, directed by Dani Drumond, and reports the routine of the days during this time of quarantine. Produced in Brazil, the Long Fiction “Purity” is directed by Renato Barbieri and tells the exciting and dangerous journey that a woman from the countryside must face to try to find her son, who was a victim of contemporary slave labor in the Amazon.

Our Mercosur shortsHas “The Color of the Cloudless Sky”, directed by Helena Guerra, which was produced in São Paulo, and is a modern fable about a clothing store mannequin that reflects on the human condition and what it means to be a woman today; and “La Ramada”, a Peruvian film directed by Fernando Torres Salvador, about the life of an old fisherman in an old pre-Inca port, whose ecosystem was destroyed.

O short from Santa Catarina displayed is "Prom", drama directed by Cíntia Domit Bittar, about a girl, who had to mature too soon. Finally, the guest documentary from Santa Catarina é "Zara", directed by Daphine Xavier, which tells the emotional reality of a trans woman artist, about her way of seeing and being seen.
