Entering its final stretch, the Virtual Museums project will hold its penultimate session of the year next Saturday, August 24th, at 15pm, at Paradigma CineArte, in Florianópolis. This time, the program will bring the public the fascinating history of Dutch art from the XNUMXth century, with the theme "Rijksmuseum: Holland in the XNUMXth century - Economic and Artistic Power". The event is free and open to the community.

The 17th century, widely known as the "Golden Age" of Dutch painting, will be the focus of the presentation, which will explore the rich collection of Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum. This period was marked by artistic flourishing in cities such as Delft, Haarlem, Amsterdam and Utrecht, driven by a vibrant mercantile economy and a society that valued art. Immortal figures such as Rembrandt, Vermeer, Frans Hals and Jan Steen will be presented through their works, which depict everything from stunning landscapes and detailed urban scenes to everyday narratives that connect us directly with the customs and traditions of the time.
