Drama about an elderly person who crosses the country by bus premieres at Paradigma Cine Arte

The drama “The Last Bus”, directed by Gillies MacKinnon, which tells the story of an elderly man who crosses Scotland by bus is featured in Paradigma Cine Arte this week. The protagonist Tom, 90 years old, is played by Timothy Spall, known for works such as “Secrets and Lies”, by Mike Leigh, and the two “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”. The schedule is available between the 1st and 7th of June, in sessions at 18:40 pm. 

To fulfill a promise he made to his wife, Mary (Phyllis Logan), before she died, Tom leaves his home of 50 years in northern Scotland and crosses the country to the southern tip of England, where he was born. The trajectory is carried out in a journey of 1.400 kilometers, by bus. 

Other productions are also showing, such as 'EO', directed by Jerzy Skolimowski, in the 20 pm session, 'Bem-vinda, Violeta', by Fernando Fraiha, in the 40 pm session and 'Rodeo', directed by Lola Quivoron, in 16pm session.

There will be no cinema session on June 6, Tuesday, when there will be a classical violin and cello concert at 19 pm.
