The work is based on the life of Glenio Sá Brito, father of the author Paulo Sa Brito, bringing a fictional account of the character's history that, although approaching the family dramaturgy, ends up extrapolating this universe. With an independent spirit and averse to the consumer society, Glenio published, in 1964, the book man's gospel, which is completing exactly 50 years of its edition. It is a book with his thoughts and existential questions. Paulo Sá Brito was born in Curitiba, but has lived in Florianópolis since 1980. He has published the books altina (1994), biography of his century-old maternal grandmother, and As one who scratches the stone (2004), novel about youth at the time of the dictatorship.
