With the aim of presenting the educational path – teaching and artistic – in order to demonstrate the connection between the fields of activity, the BADESC Cultural Foundation invited the artist and professor Dr. Jociele Lampert to give the lecture “Between artistic practice and teaching practice: or art as experience”. The meeting is free of charge, but registration is required on the website fundacaoculturalbadesc.com, starting on October 11th.
During the meeting, which will take place from 14 pm on October 25th, the articulation between the recent artistic project “Spaces to dream” - a pictorial project with a view to exhibitions in 2025, and the intersection with the teaching work, which the professor has been developing, over the last 10 years, as coordinator of the Apotheke Painting Studio at the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC) will be presented.
Artists, teachers, researchers and the community interested in painting and art education can register. The BADESC Cultural Foundation is located at Rua Visconde de Ouro Preto, 216, in downtown Florianópolis.
about the speaker
Jociele Lampert is an artist and teacher. She holds a PhD in Visual Arts from ECA/USP. She is a painting teacher in undergraduate courses and a supervisor for master's and doctoral programs in Visual Arts in the line of research on teaching visual arts at PPGAV of the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). She is the coordinator of the permanent extension program Estúdio de Pintura Apotheke and coordinator of the international cooperation project with funding from CNPq "The painting studio as a laboratory for teaching and learning in visual arts".
