A Florianopolis Camerata gradually returns to the stage. This time, on October 15th, at Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC), will make 500 tickets available to the public.

And to welcome this new phase, the orchestra will pay homage to the Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla, who would turn 100 years old in 2021. With the bandaneón in his hands, Piazzolla crossed borders and revolutionized the traditional rhythm of tango. He left at the age of 81, leaving more than 3 thousand compositions (of which around 500 were recorded) and a legacy that influenced musicians in Argentina and other countries.

It is the first time that the orchestra has dedicated an entire show to Piazzolla. With solos by Alberto Heller (piano) and Leornado Piermartiri (viola), the tribute will be under the command of maestro Jeferson Della Rocca. “Piazzolla has always inspired the Camerata, not only because of the infinite beauty of his works, but because he managed to bring together the classic and the popular and encouraged generations to follow the path of art”, summarizes Della Rocca.
