Love will have a soundtrack of guitars, strings, and rock classics this Valentine's Day. On June 12th, at 20 PM, the Camerata Florianópolis takes the stage at the Teatro Ademir Rosa with the show Rock'n Camerata, bringing together hits that span generations in an evening designed for couples, music lovers, and fans of the rock 'n' roll universe. Tickets are on sale at Blueticket and at the orchestra's headquarters.
The concert combines the sound of concert music with the power of guitars in a repertoire that spans different eras and styles. The program features classics from bands such as Led Zeppelin, Queen, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Metallica, and AC/DC alongside works by Ludwig van Beethoven and the opera The Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini.
On stage, the vocals are provided by Rodrigo “Gnomo” Matos, Misael Pacheco, and soprano Carla Domingues, accompanied by musicians from the Camerata Florianópolis, under the direction of maestro Jeferson Della Rocca, and the band Brasil Papaya, in a formation that has already established itself among the orchestra's most popular projects. The arrangements are by pianist and composer Alberto Heller.
More than just a concert, Rock'n Camerata proposes an encounter between different audiences. Those who appreciate classical music will find new interpretations of well-known works. Rock fans, on the other hand, will enjoy historic hits with new arrangements and the power of live strings.
