To proceed with your 2023 Classical Concert Season, Florianopolis Camerata, under the direction of the conductor Jeferson Della Rocca, will be presented on May 2nd, at 20:30 pm, at Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC), a show in which the highlight will be Polish composers Chopin, Stope e gorecki, in addition to the South American Astor Piazzolla. The public will also have the opportunity to meet the soloists of the Cracow Duo (Poland), cellist Jan Kalinowski and the pianist Marek Szlezer, who will perform together with the Camerata.
The program will feature the following works: “Concerto for Piano No. 2 in F minor, Op. 21” by Chopin; “Scène dramatique for cello and string orchestra” by Stolpe; “Elegy for cello and string orchestra, Op. 40” by Górecki; and the “Double Concerto for Bandoneon, Guitar and String Orchestra” (arrangement for cello & piano), by Astor Piazzolla.
