The Desterro Autoral Festival promises a free program packed with artists. The event will take place on April 3rd and 4th, at North Seaside Trapiche and will also feature big names in music such as Heaven, Otto, dazaranha, BNegão e Skrotes.
Conceived by cultural producers Arturo Valle and Marina Tavares, in partnership with musician Thiago Mates, and produced by Studio de Ideias, Desterro Autoral is a cultural movement that connects the public of Florianópolis to the diversity of its music scene. Since its first edition in June 2024, the project has promoted an occupation of the city—which was once Nossa Senhora do Desterro—by bringing around 50 artists and bands to perform on sidewalks, squares, bars, and other public spaces.
With initiatives such as “Desterro Autoral na Rua”, “Giro”, “Encontros” and “Acústico”, the project has showcased local talent and broadened public access to the city's original music. The festival emerges as an offshoot of this journey, bringing together artists from different regions in encounters that reflect Desterro's mission: to connect different scenes, foster connections, and expand the reach of independent music.
Desterro Autoral is a project made possible by the PIC (Program for the Promotion of Culture) of the Government of the State of Santa Catarina, through the Catarinense Foundation for Culture (FCC), and has the support of Fort Atacadista.
