Show 'Bossa Nova 65 Years' by Leila Pinheiro and Roberto Menescal 

The 4th Anabá Guitar Show brings Leila Pinheiro and Roberto Menescal & Quarteto to Florianópolis, in a unique show that celebrates 65 years of Bossa Nova, one of the most prestigious and visible musical genres in the world, and the matrix of modern Brazilian music. With a special selection of classics of the genre, the show promises an incredible night of music, emotion and nostalgia. The show takes place on June 14th, starting at 19pm, in the Garapuvu Auditorium of the UFSC Culture and Events Center. Furthermore, musicians from Santa Catarina Luiz Meira and Vitor Vital will make a special appearance at the opening of the show.

With more than three decades of partnership, Leila and Menescal enchant the public with their musical complicity and unparalleled talent. The carefully selected repertoire transports the audience to the golden era of Bossa Nova, with timeless classics such as "Samba de Verão", "Desafinado" and "Primavera", remembering the magical moments that marked the history of Brazilian music.

In addition to the remarkable performance of Leila Pinheiro and Roberto Menescal, the show features the participation of a quartet of musicians composed of Itamar Assiere, on keyboard and wind arrangements, Marcio Bahia, on drums, Zé Luiz Maia, on double bass, and Alexandre Caldi, on saxes and flute. Together, they bring Menescal's arrangements to life, creating an engaging and sophisticated atmosphere that conveys the essence of Bossa Nova.
