Florianópolis is getting ready to welcome the renowned Brazilian Orchestra in an unmissable show. On Saturday, June 21, at 20:30 pm, the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC) will host a unique musical event entitled “Festa do Interior”. With special appearances by singers Camélia Martins, Cacá Ribeiro and Lara Sales, the night promises to enchant the audience with the magic of the parties of northeastern Brazil in a forró and baião atmosphere.

The Brazilian Orchestra is one of the works directed by pianist and music producer from Santa Catarina, Luiz Gustavo Zago, known for his pioneering work in seeking different sound languages, working from orchestral formation with the Camerata Florianópolis or Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, to the universe of popular song, with his collaborations with Lenine, Ivan Lins, Toquinho and Paulinho Moska.

The show pays homage to Brazilian music, focusing on the musical richness of the northeast of the country. The repertoire was carefully selected and the arrangements were made by Luiz Gustavo Zago and Alexandre Lunardelli. Among the songs that will be presented, “Festa do Interior”, “ Isso Aqui Tá Bom Demais”, “Esperando na Janela”, “Feira de Mangaio”, “Eu Só Quero Um Xodó” and “São João Carioca” stand out.

The musicians of the Brazilian Orchestra, led by pianist and conductor Luiz Gustavo Zago, include talented artists such as Eduardo Pimentel, Filipe Müller and Igor Ishikawa on guitars, Tie Pereira on acoustic bass, Duh Romão on cavaquinho, Lucas Martinez on mandolin, Marcelo Besen on accordion, Richard Montano on drums, Alexandre Damaria and Neno Moura on percussion, Ana Luisa Remor on transverse flute and Elio Vistel on flute/saxophone.
