The first show of 2024 by Camerata Florianópolis – which celebrated its 30th anniversary on January 10th – will be a project that has been a success with critics and the public since its creation in 2002: “Music for Cinema”. The presentation will be this Tuesday (23), at 19pm, at Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC) and will be part of the program of the 4th State Culture Conference. Made possible by the Fundação Catarinense de Cultura / Government of the State of Santa Catarina, the concert will have a popular price (R$10,00 full and R$5,00 half). Tickets can be purchased on Blueticket this Monday, starting at 17 pm.

“Music for Cinema” is presented by the orchestra, conducted by maestro Jeferson Della Rocca, has arrangements specially prepared by composer and pianist Alberto Heller and will also feature the participation of guest artists: soprano Masami Ganev (vocals), Eduardo Pimentel (guitar and guitar ) and Marcio Bicaco (percussion). Executive production is by Maria Elita Pereira and technical coordination by Leonardo Boechat.

The soundtracks of renowned world cinema films from the 20th and 21st centuries will be presented by Camerata in a repertoire that brings together hits such as The Godfather, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Scent of a Woman, Pulp Fiction, Pirates of the Caribbean and Cinema Paradiso. Throughout the concert, scenes from the films are projected at the back of the stage, uniting the universe of sound and image in an unforgettable spectacle.
