
Solidarity is on the agenda at AMUCC's Festa Junina in Florianópolis, which includes the donation of 1kg of non-perishable food, destined for Rio Grande do Sul. The arraiá takes place on the day July, 07, Sunday, from 15 am to 20 pm, No. ICSC- Iate Clube Veleiros da Ilha, in the Center.
Among the attractions are Lemon Pepper and D'Bregas, as well as the Recreação Floripa team to entertain the children. There will also be a presentation of the Maricotinha, character who portrays the culture of the island's manezinho and Florianópolis.

About AMUCC
The NGO Love and Union Against Cancer (AMUCC) has been working for people diagnosed with cancer for over 20 years, to help them face stigma, fear and prejudice, through projects in the areas of education, prevention, advocacy and social control.
Some examples of the NGO's projects are: Cancer Patient Support Program (PAPO); Training of Community Health and Related Agents (CACs); Cancer Control Network in Santa Catarina (RECAN/SC) and Educate to Prevent.
Still, there are other projects such as Distance Learning (EaD AMUCC); Queue Zero; Weaving Hearts; Pink October and Breast Reconstructive Surgeries Task Force.
In addition, it works to empower patients and defend their rights, as well as carrying out campaigns for the general population, health professionals and other organizations supporting cancer patients.
It is made up of social activists, volunteers, healthcare professionals, patients, family members and caregivers.
