The Purpurina transmedia project, carried out by the Design, Audiovisual and Transmedia Laboratory (LAB DAT) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), launches the second edition of the Purpurina Festival, dedicated to queer culture.
The event takes place on the day August 30th, XNUMX, saturday, from 19 hrs, at Boulevard 14/32, Floripa Airport, and has artistic and executive direction by André Sens and Jamil Vigano.
The lineup will feature performances by singers André Schuck and Rivero, drag queens A Nova Hera and Gigi Gemini, and the ballroom collective Floripa Kunt and Purpurina Show, a group formed by the cast of the show "Purpurina - O Musical." There will also be performances by Perla Purple (Vinicius Tancredo) and Gab Gab (Gabriel Souza).
There will also be the grand finale of the second edition of the #ConcursoPurpurina with Bruaka Budá, Nit Nit Picky, and Paulão Rego, competing for cash prizes and makeup kits. Drag queens Kandy Cooper, Jô Juba, and Ororo will also be in attendance.
The event is sponsored by the airport and has the support of the UFSC Department of Culture and Art (SeCArte) through the Bolsa Cultura Grant, the production company Joy Studios and Colore & Pinta.
