Guilherme Arantes arrives in Greater Florianópolis with the tour “50 Light-Years”, which celebrates five decades of his career. The artist's only performance in Santa Catarina will be on November 20th, at Arena Opus, in São José.
In the show, the singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist revisits hits that have spanned generations, such as "Amanhã," "Planeta Água," "Um Dia, Um Adeus," and "Cheia de Charme." The performance combines classics from his repertoire with technology and visual elements.
With over 30 songs immortalized in soap operas and performed by names like Elis Regina, Maria Bethânia, Gal Costa, Caetano Veloso, and Roberto Carlos, Guilherme Arantes has built a prominent career in Brazilian music, especially during the rise of national pop rock in the 1980s. At 72 years old, the artist is also preparing an album of new songs.
