The country festival "Santa Catarina Sings" Registration is open until today June 27th. Children, young people and adults can register for the festival, which brings opportunity and visibility to local musical talents in country music.
Produced by Florianopolis Camerata and carried out by Government of Santa Catarina, through the Catarinense Culture Foundation (FCC), the event occurs in different regions of Santa Catarina and has qualifying stages to select participants.
The regional stage in Florianópolis takes place in September at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC) and the mesoregional stage takes place in November at the same location.
The grand final takes place in Florianópolis with a show by Michel Teló, a nationally renowned singer, and with Camerata Florianópolis, at Trapiche in Beira-Mar Norte. This way, performers can demonstrate their full talent and potential.
Who can participate
Candidates can participate in the event born in Santa Catarina or resident in the State for more than three years, aged between 8 to 15 years old (completed by December 31, 2024) in category children and youth.
From 16 years old, complete by December 31, 2024, can register for the general category. Soloists and duos are welcome to register. You cannot register separately in the two categories.
Where to sign up
Registration takes place via the link www.santacatarinacanta.com.br, where the complete regulations are located. A registration form with artistic history must be completed, in addition to sending a video.
In the video, the candidate must present their name, the city, the song they want to perform and the destination to which the candidate is going. video (in this case, it is being made for "Santa Catarina Canta - Festival Sertanejo 2024").
Furthermore, the video must have the time maximum de 3 minutes and 3 seconds long, cannot exceed the limit.
About the award
In addition to gaining space and projection in the country music scene, the winners receive cash prizes.
O first place wins R$20 thousand, with the right to special participation in the Camerata Florianópolis Season 2024/2025 shows, in the special "Clássicos da Música Sertaneja".
Already second place conquest R $ 10 thousand and third place conquest R $ 5 thousand.
