
The Italian singer Mafalda Minnozzi, known as the ambassador of Italian music in Brazil, comes to Florianópolis for a special show and Loano train station No. Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC), in the Agronômica neighborhood, in June 18th, at 20pm.
O Consulate General of Italy in Curitiba presents the show, which is part of the "Impronta Latina" tour, as one of the celebrations of Festival of the Italian Republic, highlighting the cultural ties between Italy and Brazil.
The presentation comes as a gift to Brazilians, in honor of the versatile and multiple artist's three decades of success, composed of original jazz arrangements.
With almost two hours of presentation, the repertoire ranges from the timeless melodies of Ennio Morricone to the works of Bruno Martino, Sergio Endrigo, Renato Rascel and Renato Carosone.
Also included are the songs "Tu si 'na cosa grande", by Domenico Modugno, and "Speranza", as well as tributes to Antonio Carlos Jobim and Caetano Veloso, prominent names in Brazilian music.
Also present to compose this great work will be guitarist Paul Ricci and conductor Tiago Costa on the piano.
