The Santa Catarina Symphony Orchestra (OSSCA) will perform the Tim Maia Symphonic Special this Saturday, May 02nd, at 20 pm, at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC).
The orchestra performs hits such as "Ela Partiu," "Gostava Tanto de Você," and "O Descobridor de Sete Mares," as well as lesser-known songs, interpreted by the experienced singer Gustavo Barreto in original arrangements.
This will be Gustavo's first time performing with OSSCA. Previously, he collaborated with them as a guest guitarist.
The performer has a long career in the Santa Catarina cultural scene and strong references in the language of soul and funk music, influenced by masters James Brown and Sly Stone.
