the cultural project Appassionato Piano takes to the stages of Santa Catarina a series of seven solo piano recitals with the pianist Alexandre Dietrich. The premiere takes place on the day 8 July, at 20h30, at Ademir Rosa Theater – CIC, with free ticket collection at Sympla (website or app).
With presentations also in Joacaba, Chapeco, Joinville, Blumenau, Itajai e São Francisco do Sul, the project seeks to democratize access to concert music and expand the audience for Brazilian instrumental music.
The program is divided into two parts: the first highlights themes of national folklore, such as Circle, Circle e Sambalele, recreated for solo piano. The second includes great works from the classical repertoire, such as Moonlight, by Debussy, and the Heroic Polonaise, by Chopin.
Inspired by the passion that moves composers, performers and listeners, the project invites the public to a sensitive, expressive and accessible musical experience.
