The month of October will begin with a party in the Capital of Santa Catarina. That's because on the 1st, the new Florianópolis International Airport – Hercílio Luz will complete four years and will have a free event, open to the community, with Camerata Florianópolis. The traditional Rock'n Camerata will be performed at Boulevard 14/32, starting at 18:30 pm on the 1st.
The Rock'n Camerata show is one of the orchestra's biggest public successes, with hundreds of successful performances in various cities in Brazil, always attracting crowds to open-air concerts, theaters and concert halls. In 2023, the show turns 15 years old. In addition to the Camerata musicians, the band Brasil Papaya Instrumental and vocalists Rodrigo Gnomo Mattos and soprano Carla Domingues will be on stage. The arrangements are by Alberto Heller, and the executive production of the show is by Maria Elita Pereira.
“Since we took over Florianópolis airport, we explained that the objective was for the new terminal to be more than a place of transit, but also a place of destination. Events at the airport, the panoramic terrace, the leisure park, services such as Detran, Protege and IGP are examples of our efforts in this direction. We are happy to once again open the airport to welcome the community for a classical music show and with Camerata, who was at our opening event”, notes Ricardo Gesse, CEO of Zurich Airport Brasil.
Camerata Florianópolis had already performed once at the airport, at the inauguration event of the new terminal, next to Dazaranha, in a memorable and free show, which received around 2 thousand people, on September 29, 2019.
The director of the company Companhia de Produção, Diogo Severo, who is in charge of the event's production, also celebrates: “It is very gratifying for us to promote a cultural moment to the population with the Camerata Florianópolis”, he celebrates.
