This Cultural Friday has an acoustic show by Freedas, at the Oliveira Restaurant. Freedas is the name of the duo formed by the Blumenau sisters Carol Voigt and Gika Voigt.
They now come together in a proposal that puts women's production in focus. They are songs by female composers and other influences that ended up being incorporated into each one's individual repertoire. He is currently a professor of acoustic and electric bass, harmony and ensemble practice, privately and at Escola Livre de Música Florianópolis. He works in the groups Karibu, Marelua, Watchout! Jazz, Thunder Rock Trio. That night, the repertoire will consist of a mix of jazz standards and original arrangements for Brazilian popular music classics. The show mixes structured arrangements with open spaces for interaction between the musicians and improvisation. The show brings a unique atmosphere, captivating by the fluid and inventive way that the two instrumentalists communicate to embody each song in the repertoire.
