One of the most anticipated shows of recent years will finally become reality: Ivan Lins will join Camerata Florianópolis for a remarkable show, which will bring a collection of the composer's greatest hits, from different phases of his career. The presentation will be on March 16th, at 20pm, at the UFSC Culture and Events Center, and tickets for the first batch are now available on the Blueticket website.

One of the great icons of Brazilian Popular Music, Ivan Lins is the author or co-author of more than 600 songs and winner of the 2005 Latin Grammy for “Best Album of the Year”. He created more than 90 successful soundtracks for soap operas and cinema and, in his 50-year career, he performed more than 5.000 times.

The show will feature new arrangements of 15 compositions by Ivan Lins, prepared by arranger Luiz Gustavo Zago, and will be produced in a partnership between Maria Elita Pereira, Orth Produções and C5 Produções.

The Camerata Florianópolis, conducted by maestro Jeferson Della Rocca, turned 30 in January this year and is one of the main orchestras in Brazil, recognized for its work in classical music and for its various projects "mixing" musical styles. It consolidated several shows that cover different genres, such as rock, pop, reggae, jazz, MPB, country music, samba, electronica, among others. Before Ivan Lins, the orchestra established partnerships and performed together with Lenine, Paulinho Moska, Zeca Baleiro, Toquinho, Mart'nália, Daniel and Daniela Mercury, among other national artists.
