Two great voices of contemporary international blues will perform in Florianópolis: the Americans Iretta Sanders and JJ Thames.
Originally from Mississippi, Iretta Sanders, known as "Queen" Iretta, carries the most authentic roots of Southern United States blues.
JJ Thames, on the other hand, has a strong influence from soul music and is considered one of the most promising voices in blues today, dubbed the "future of the genre."
Called a show Powerful Blues Women The event highlights female leadership and It will take place on June 3rd, at 20 PM, at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC).
In addition to the artists, the host will be musician Cris Ferreira, one of the leading names in blues in Brazil. Alongside his band, the guitarist, based in Florianópolis, will lead the show.
The event is open to all ages and is produced by Confrailha Produtora and Grezz.
