Free MPB shows by Arlyson Nunes

Shopping Itaguaçu invites singer and instrumentalist Arlyson Nunes to lead the programming of the Itaguaçu + Música project with a lot of MPB, on May 18th and 19th. Brazilian Popular Music emerged in the 1960s, mixing influences from different styles of our culture, such as samba, bossa nova and tropicália. With lyrics that mainly address social and political themes, the genre became an important tool of artistic expression and resistance during periods of military dictatorship.
