Shopping Itaguaçu invites singer and instrumentalist Arlyson Nunes to lead the programming of the Itaguaçu + Música project with a lot of MPB, on May 18th and 19th. Brazilian Popular Music emerged in the 1960s, mixing influences from different styles of our culture, such as samba, bossa nova and tropicália. With lyrics that mainly address social and political themes, the genre became an important tool of artistic expression and resistance during periods of military dictatorship.
The presentations will begin on Saturday, the 18th, from 18pm to 21pm, in the food court on Floor L1, and on the 19th, Sunday, from 18pm to 21pm, in the food court on Floor L2. Both presentations are free and open to the public, for more information, see Shopping Itaguaçu's social networks.
