In its newest show, Camerata Florianópolis - which celebrates 2024 years of uninterrupted activities in 30 - brings to the stage of Teatro Ademir Rosa (CIC), on April 19th, at 20:30 pm, striking and unforgettable music from Latin America. From tango to bolero, from choro to salsa, the orchestra will explore the musical richness of countries such as Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico – and, of course, Brazil. Ticket sales are scheduled to begin this Wednesday (3).
In addition to the Camerata musicians, the show will have as guests the singers Cláudia Bossle, Nicole Ruju (Peru), Javier Venegas (Argentina) and Daniel Montero (Uruguay); in the band, Felipe Coelho (guitar), Tie Pereira (bass), Alberto Heller (piano and arrangements), Rodrigo Porciúncula (drums), Alexandre Damaria (percussion), Roger Correa (accordion), Claudia Rivera (flute) and Gabriel Barbalho ( trumpet). The conducting and musical direction is by maestro Jeferson Della Rocca and the executive production is by Maria Elita Pereira.
In the repertoire are emblematic songs such as tangos La Cumparsita and Cambalache, Gracias a la vida, El Humahuaqueño + El condor passa, Boquita de cereza, El Quarto de Tula, Solo le pido a Dios and Volver a los 17, as well as Brazilian music of different seasons and regions, such as Escorregando + Apanhei-te Cavaquinho, Milonga para as Missões, Feira de Mangaio and Águas de Março.
