The idea that music can cross territories and connect stories is the starting point for the opening of the 2026 season of Terças Sonoras (Sound Tuesdays). On April 7th, at 19:30 PM, the stage of... Paradigm Cine Arte The show features Gondwana, bringing together Alegre Corrêa and François Muleka, with a special appearance by Argentinian Mariana Baraj, in an encounter that celebrates the shared ancestry between Brazil, Africa, and Latin America.
Inspired by the name of the ancient supercontinent that united South America and Africa, the project uses music as a language to connect these territories. The repertoire consists of original songs that explore different sounds, combining rhythms, languages, and diverse cultural influences.
The partnership between Alegre Corrêa and François Muleka results in a creative symbiosis that unites distinct experiences and references in a single musical narrative. For this performance, the duo welcomes Mariana Baraj, an Argentinian singer, percussionist, and composer recognized for her work integrating Latin American popular music, sound research, and contemporary expression.
The concert proposes a listening experience that connects memory, identity, and creation in a single flow, building a soundscape that dialogues with different traditions and points to new possibilities for encounters between cultures. Established as one of the most consistent projects in the Florianópolis music scene, Terças Sonoras reinforces, with this opening, its commitment to presenting original experiences, with curation focused on aesthetic diversity and artistic quality. Tickets are free and distributed on-site starting at 18:30 PM.
