On tour with her fourth studio album, Quem Sabe Isso Quer Dizer Amor, Maria Gadú lands at Floripa Airport to complete the Vibe Verão program, with artistic direction by Ivanna Tolotti, on the night of February 17th (Saturday), to 21pm, at the Boulevard 14/32 entertainment plaza.
For lovers of Brazilian popular music, this is a true spectacle where Maria Gadú presents her hits, the twelve songs from the new album and re-recordings by big names in MPB, such as Caetano Veloso, Gonzaguinha, Marisa Monte, Rita Lee and Renato Russo.
On stage, Gadú interprets and plays all the instruments in her songs, proving her versatility and plurality as a musician. Owner of the soundtrack for many soap operas, films and series, Maria Gadú has gathered several achievements in her career, such as 8 albums, 5 nominations for the Latin Grammy, the “Prêmio da Música Brasileira” (2017) and the “Prêmio Multishow” in Best Album category (2010).
Maria Gadú’s hits, such as “Shimbalaiê”, “Linda Rosa”, “Almost Sem Querer”, “Dona Cila”, “Baianidade Nagô”, “Mundo Líquido” and “Quem?” affirm their authenticity in music. The singer from São Paulo takes to the stage at Boulevard 14/32 at Floripa Airport for a unique performance, with an MPB repertoire that promises to excite and make Floripa experience a historic summer night.
Vibe Verão at Floripa Airport begins with activities for children with the holiday painting workshop with Daisy Américo to the sounds of DJ Brother, starting at 18pm. The Boi-de-Mamão folkloric performance will follow at 19pm. The wind and percussion fanfare Filhas e Filhes de Eva no Jardim das Delícias, formed by more than 40 women and non-binary people, brought together by clarinetist, singer and composer Eva Figueiredo, takes the stage at 20pm for the opening of the national show of Maria Gadú, scheduled for 21pm.
For those who want to arrive early and enjoy all the attractions on Boulevard 14/32, the space also has an indoor beach tennis court open to the public, available 24 hours a day. There is no rental charge, just make an appointment on the Tênis Integrado app.
