Now, every Thursday will be musical at Circo da Dona Bilica! Casa opens its doors to independent artists from the Island, launching the Festival Sonora da Ilha project, conceived by the musician Merry Correa and by the actor Pepe Nunez. The initiative proposes communication between artists, space and public, valuing independent and contemporary musicians from Florianópolis, forming a portal for instrumentalists and the countless musical talents based in the city. On this opening night, Alegre Correa invites the composer, singer and guitarist, Francois Muleka, to compose his band. With inescapable influences from Brazilian music, American canned hits and traditional African music, Muleka mixes beautiful melodies with a percussive way of playing the guitar. The band will consist of Merry Correa (guitar and composition), Guinha Ramires (guitar), grandson fernandes (drums), Uiliam Pimenta (keyboards), Rafael Galegari (electric bass) and the guest Francois Muleka (guitar and composition).
