The power of female voices meets the work of one of the greatest names in Brazilian music in the new show by Camerata Florianópolis. On March 26th and 27th, at 20:30 pm, at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC), the orchestra presents the premiere of “Elas Cantam Roberto Carlos” (They Sing Roberto Carlos), created especially for Women's Month and built from a repertoire that spans generations. Tickets are on sale at the Blueticket website.
On stage, in addition to the orchestra musicians and the backing band, three female voices will come together: Ammora Alves, who recently performed with the orchestra in a show honoring Bob Marley; Gaby Scotton, winner of Santa Catarina Canta 2025 in the children's and youth category with the song "Negro Gato"; and Ruby, who makes her debut with the Camerata Florianópolis in this project.
The repertoire spans different phases of Roberto Carlos' career, with songs such as "Amigo," "Quero que vá tudo pro inferno," "Negro Gato," "Jesus Cristo," "Força Estranha," "O Portão," "Como é grande o meu amor por você," and "Café da Manhã." The arrangements, by Alberto Heller, were developed especially for this production, integrating orchestral sounds with the characteristics of each performer.
“They Sing Roberto Carlos” is a production by Camerata Florianópolis, with production direction by Maria Elita Pereira, and is a gift from Koerich companies to the people of Santa Catarina.
