The children's operetta tells the story of five children who cannot sleep. At the same time as they face the effects of sleep and dream deprivation, they reflect on topics such as friendship, dialogue with parents and the dangers of consumerism and environmental destruction. The operetta's libretto was written by playwright Karen Acioly, inspired by the fantastic literature of authors such as Wilhelm Bush and Edgar Allan Poe, as well as the cinematographic style of Tim Burton. The editing and staging are by the Amazonian company Buia Teatro de Manaus, awarded as Best Theater Group in Brazil in 2022, during the 21st edition of the Cenym Theater Award.
