A Aktoro Theater Company presents "The Two Joys", a satirical show that delves into the visit of the royal family of Animália to the peaceful town of Ilusória. The Lion King with the Chicken Heart, the Snake Queen with the Eagle Fingers, the Wolf Prince with the Frog Mouth and the Pig Princess with the Cricket Butt arrive with pomp and circumstance, but cause unexpected twists in the lives of the residents.
Inspired by the work of Italian playwright Luigi Pirandello, the play uses anthropomorphized characters to make a scathing critique of society, politics and art. With a sharp and intelligent sense of humor, "The Two Joys" promises to make the audience laugh and think.
