The arrival of Toy Story 5 in theaters promises to thrill a new generation of children and rekindle the nostalgia of adults who grew up following the adventures of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and their friends. To get into the spirit of the animation's premiere, Continente Shopping is hosting a free musical show, "The Adventure of the Toys," on June 20th at 17 PM.
The attraction takes the audience to a universe where toys come to life and live great adventures, in a presentation full of music, humor and interaction with the audience. Inspired by the imagery that made Toy Story one of the most beloved film franchises, the show invites children and families to join a journey about friendship, loyalty and companionship.
The action takes place just days after the premiere of Toy Story 5, which was released in theaters on June 17th. In the new film, the toys face a very current challenge: remaining relevant in a world increasingly dominated by technology, when Bonnie receives a tablet that begins to occupy much of her attention.
Lasting approximately 40 minutes, the show features characters inspired by Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Betty, and the Green Soldiers, as well as audience participation and a photo session at the end of the performance.
According to Gisele Onofre, marketing manager at Continente Shopping, the goal is to expand the family experience beyond the movie theaters. "Toy Story is part of the fond memories of many generations and continues to enchant children to this day. We want to provide a special moment for families, connecting the magic of the film's premiere with a fun, interactive, and free experience inside the shopping mall," she emphasizes.
