Amidst the summer cultural program in Florianópolis, Camerata Florianópolis presents this Saturday (31), at 20:30 pm, at Teatro Ademir Rosa (CIC), a musical experience that perfectly reflects the cultural vocation of the Magic Island: the show “Marley in Camerata”, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026 and takes on an even more special meaning in this edition.

For the first time, singer Ammora Alves joins the cast of the project. Coming from São Paulo exclusively for the performance, the artist has a direct connection to the world of Bob Marley: reggae was the first style she sang in a band, early in her career. Her debut in the show marks a symbolic encounter between her musical journey and one of the orchestra's most emblematic projects, which for a decade has been building bridges between classical and popular music. Tickets are on sale at the Blueticket website.

On stage, the musicians of Camerata Florianópolis, under the direction of maestro Jeferson Della Rocca, share the space with a band formed by Mauro Branco (percussion), Cahuê Carvalho (bass), Andrews Borges (guitar), Alexandre Loureiro (keyboard) and Diego Rutkowisk (drums). In addition to Ammora, the vocalists are Gabriel Melloy and Diego Moura, who lend their voices to Bob Marley classics such as “It Is Love”, “Three Little Birds”, “No Woman, No Cry” and “One Love”, among other hits that have spanned generations.

With arrangements by pianist Alberto Heller and executive production by Maria Elita Pereira, “Marley in Camerata” is sponsored by Fort Atacadista.
