The community of Ribeirão da Ilha once again promotes the staging of one of the most famous passages from the Bible. The piece Passion of christ It has been performed outdoors since 1983 in the south of the island in view of the Easter holiday. This year the biblical story is mixed with the theme of the Fraternidade campaign, which debates the issue of human trafficking. The show is organized and staged by volunteers from the south of the island and takes place annually on Good Friday.
