The play "The Bald Singer", performed by Grupo Armação and written by playwright Éugenio Ionesco, in 1950, takes place this Sunday, October 19, starting at 19 pm.
Linked to the theater of the absurd, it proposes a dramaturgy devoid of meaning, logic, rationality and ineligible communication, in which the characters contradict social conventions through absurd dialogues and devoid of meanings, as described in the play's synopsis.
The play features two middle-class couples trapped in a cycle of repetition and existential emptiness. It takes place in Álvaro de Carvalho Theater (TAC).
