O Desterro Award – 13th Florianópolis Dance Festival will have a full program from February 17th to 25th, at Integrated Culture Center (CIC).

The event has the participation of more than 1.500 dancers from nine states in the country and also from Paraguay.

Members of more than one hundred academies, schools, groups and companies will present more than 600 choreographies at the Ademir Rosa Theatre.

Among the genres that will be presented are classical repertoire ballet, neoclassical ballet, contemporary dance, popular dances, urban dances, as well as freestyle, jazz and tap.

The works will compete for awards in the Competitive Exhibition in 14 sessions.

Furthermore, the works will be shown at two specific times in the Commented Scene, which is a parallel show with analysis by a guest professional.

 The competition will also go outside the theater, with the Urban Dance Battle, which returns to the event's program after two years.

 Furthermore, there will be a special workshop at Teatro Ademir Rosa and 35 workshops at Espaço Lindolf Bell, taught by 18 professionals from Brazil, Germany, Canada and the United States. The agenda is extensive, with special programming.
