Free theater, with the show 'Soledad: A Play of Agitation'

Soledad: agitation piece has new free performances in Palhoça, Florianópolis, and Criciúma. The show revives the story of Paraguayan activist and poet Soledad Barrett Viedma, murdered in Brazil in 1973 during the dictatorship, and provokes reflections on memory, democracy, and human rights.

With the performance of Fatima Costa de Lima, live music from Edinho Roldan and Soledad's granddaughter, Yalis Barrett Drummond – who also signs the sound design –, the production has dramaturgy and direction by Mariana Corale. In some sessions, the public will be able to participate in debates and training activities in partnership with the Institute of Memory and Human Rights (UFSC).
