The project Sunday with Theater presents this Sunday (4), at 11:30 am, the children's show “Brincanteria”, at Cinesystem in Villa Romana Shopping, in Florianópolis. The production by the Multiartistic Company Sopro Cênico explores manifestations of popular culture from different regions of Brazil through music, humor, stories and games.
From the improvised verses of Northeastern Brazil to the "rat trap," a tradition present in Santa Catarina, rhythms, songs, and popular games take center stage in a performance especially geared towards children. The performers combine poetry and storytelling and invite the audience to participate in different moments of the show.
The aim is to showcase Brazilian cultural references in a playful way, bringing children closer to traditions passed down through generations and to expressions that take on unique characteristics in different parts of the country.
“Brincanteria” is a production by the multi-artistic company Sopro Cênico, a group that has been active since 2018 with shows and activities related to storytelling, music, dance, and traditional Brazilian popular culture.
Held every two weeks at the Cinesystem, "Domingo com Teatro" (Sunday with Theater) brings together children's productions and cultural activities for children and families. The initiative seeks to broaden access to the performing arts and bring children closer to theater through free performances in Florianópolis.
