A NSC and Mauá Ventures promote for the first time in Brazil the Innovathon, a global technological marathon to solve problems related to the oceans. The objective is to seek solutions to the problems that affect them. Issues such as waste reduction in these environments, sustainable aquaculture, preservation of marine ecosystems and sustainable maritime transport. This year's edition takes place online on June 27th and 28th.
Participants need to develop innovative technology-based business models aimed at the sustainable use of the oceans. It is worth emphasizing that technology is not just software. Consideration is also given to the development of materials, equipment, substances, etc.
All works are mentored by professionals who are a reference in the market and will be attentive to help the teams, which will be mixed - formed by people of different genders - and multidisciplinary. They can have a minimum of four and a maximum of 6 people - university students regularly enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate courses.
