This Thursday, August 22nd, at 14:30 pm, the Santa Catarina Art Museum (Male) welcomes the Italian pianist, teacher and conductor Martina Drudi for a piano masterclass.
Professional pianists and students of the instrument will have the opportunity to participate, free of charge. Six places will be available for performers and 30 places for listeners of different levels. Places for performers will be defined according to the repertoire and places for listeners will be defined in order of registration. The museum will send an email by August 21st, Wednesday, at 19pm, confirming the place. A certificate will be delivered to the performers.
About Martina Drudi
From the city of Faenza, Italy, Martina graduated in piano in 2002 at the F. Venezze Conservatory in Rovigo (Italy), under the guidance of Maestro Fabio Ferrucci. She actively dedicates herself to solo and chamber repertoire, participating in important concert festivals in Italy and abroad. She is coordinator of the Children's Choir at the Scuola de Música Sarti and also director of the Jubilate Choir (Faenza-Italy), with which she performs at events. She specializes in music from the classical period, with reference to Bach, Scarlatti, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Ravel, Debussy, Milhaud and Shostakovich. She has already taught masterclasses at USP and ALMA in Ribeirão Preto (SP), and also at institutions in Faenza, Brisighella and Polignano a Mare (Italy). Since 2016 she has qualified in the Children's Music Laboratory (CLM) method, teaching at the A. Masironi School in Brisighella and G. Sarti in Faenza. She organizes, together with her colleague Lorenza Garavini, Music Bridge, an international workshop on the CML method, which she teaches in Faenza with hundreds of families from all over Italy.
