Sectorial Panorama of Brazilian Culture – workshops at Sesc Prainha

O Ministry of Culture is holding workshops on the Sectorial Panorama of Brazilian Culture with the aim of clarifying doubts and stimulating the planning of activities by the actors in this production chain, that is, the agents (artists, producers and suppliers), enablers (private initiative and government), diffusers ( points of distribution of cultural products and promoters) and the consumer public. It was designed as a market research project, focusing on the economy of culture. In Florianópolis, there will be two workshops at the Sesc Prainha.

The first workshop will be on July 13th, from 13pm to 17pm - The productive chain of culture and the results of the PSCB study, with Gisele Jordão. It presents the main data from the national collection for planning cultural actions, whether in the field of artistic production or in the dimension of cultural policies. It seeks to raise awareness of the importance of strategic planning in the design of cultural actions, updated after the global crisis of COVID-19. Target audience: artists, producers, distributors, promoters, enabling agents, university students of cultural production, arts, communication, administration, suppliers, press, digital culture broadcasters and interested parties in general.

The second workshop July 14, 9 am to 12 pm – Production Workshop, with Cao Quintas. It seeks to favor understanding of the planning and development of cultural projects. Modeling cultural projects and adapting the cultural product to public and private tenders. Target public: producers of cultural activities, managers of cultural assets and activities, university students of cultural production, arts, communication, administration and other human sciences, artists, suppliers and those interested in the subject.
