African electronic music and a lecture on sustainability will be the attractions of a double event this Saturday (25), in Florianópolis

Held at Haôma Baixo Centro, the program concludes the project "Intercultural Encounters: from the island of Cape Verde to Ilha da Magia"

This Saturday (25), the Cape Verdean DJ Afrotales will make an unprecedented presentation in Florianópolis. As a closure of the project "Intercultural Encounters: from the island of Cape Verde to Ilha da Magia", the artist will play a setlist composed of songs from the “Afrohouse” genre. Scheduled at 20pm, the show will be at Haôma Lower Center, located on Avenida Hercílio Luz, in the center of the capital of Santa Catarina. The event will have free entry.

According to DJ Afrotalles himself, this Saturday's show promises vibrant energy, with a mix of electronic rhythms and African influences.

The event will also feature an opening made by the Florianopolitan DJ Calvin Trezzi, which will set the scene containing themes from artists from the African continent. The performance will be at 19pm.

But the event's attractions start in the afternoon. From 17pm onwards, Barbara Trelha will present a different approach to the work of Pernambuco singer Lenine. On the occasion, Bárbara will take the stage at the Haôma Baixo center for a lecture on how the composer brings approaches and references to environmental issues. The speaker is a writer, composer, voice researcher and music therapist.

It is worth noting that all attractions will be adapted to guarantee an inclusive experience for people with visual, hearing and intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. Noise dampers and an attitudinal mediator will be available to provide comfort and accessibility to all participants.

Tickets are free and can be booked via the website https://encurtador.com.br/vVX1r (lecture) and  https://encurtador.com.br/GU79U (show). For more information, interested parties can follow the profile @haoma Baixocentro on Instagram.
