Closing of the 'Recorte – Palhoça na Estrada' project takes place in the municipality that gives its name to the cultural initiative

Totally free, the program will feature shows by five original bands from the region

After more than 10 events in different cities in Santa Catarina, the project “Cutout – Palhoça na Estrada” is coming to an end. To mark the farewell to this tour across the map of Santa Catarina, the initiative will promote a big party, with shows by five original bands. The closing will be this Saturday (27), in Palhoça, home of the bands that led the proposal. 

From 14pm onwards, the Barra do Aririú Park will be the stage for band shows Yaju and the Hypertensive, Akanoá, soul cream — three groups that designed the project. In addition, bands will perform Demorantes e Help My Angel, also active in the city's music scene. 

The final event will be free and open to the public. However, in case of rain, this big party will be transferred to the Unified Sports and Culture Center (CEU) of Palhoça, at Rua Neri dos Santos, 148 - Jardim Coqueiros.   

About the project

"Recorte - Palhoça na Estrada" is a project organized by the bands Yaju e os Hipertensos, Akanoá and Soul Cream with the aim of strengthening the independent music scene in the city and state. Since February, the initiative has passed through the municipalities of São José, Laguna, Criciúma, Florianópolis, Lages, Balneário Camboriú and Jaraguá do Sul, always bringing original music to the public and promoting exchange between artists from different regions of Santa Catarina.

The initiative is made possible with resources from the Federal government and Paulo Gustavo Cultural Emergency Law, through Santa Catarina Cultural Foundation (FCC). The closing program has the cultural support of Palavra Palhocense.
