Olympic Komeco
Komeco, from Santa Catarina, will be the official supplier of air conditioning and water heater equipment for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics. President Denisson Moura de Freitas received the document at the company's headquarters, in Palhoça, last Friday and forwarded the signature to the Rio 2016 Games Organizing Committee, formalizing the negotiation. The partnership had already been symbolically signed in January between director Sandro SeitiSuda and the president of OCOG, Carlos Arthur Nuzman. In addition to winning the seal, Komecos will be the only company in the south as an official supplier of the event with more than 20 thousand air conditioners and gas water heaters that will be used by more than 10 thousand athletes in the Olympic Village.

Os cariocas e seus milhares de turistas que ainda estão curtindo o Rio 40 graus, respiram o ar olímpico. Foi no Sambódromo, é nas praias, é no Cristo é no Pão de Açúcar… tudo é olimpíada. E as obras estão dia a dia melhorando a vida da cidade. Se o Rio já era lindo, agora está maravilhoso.

Em quatro dias de idas e vindas pelas ruas, avenidas, sambódromo, metrôs, praias e bares das noites cariocas, vi nada de encrencas, brigas ou arrastões. A cidade amanhece limpa e o Rio continua lindo… Quente mesmo só na areia da praia.

Os taxistas, todos sabem, são termômetros da classe política e do dia a dia da cidade. Mas não falem do governador Pezão… Eles dão pulo. Dizem que receberam um pezão naquele lugar com a chegada dos taxis privados.

Compared to Floripa, a taxi ride through the streets of Rio is much cheaper. The starting flag there is R$5,20, while here it starts at 7 clubs. From Santos Dumont airport to Ipanema it takes 40 bucks. From the international (sic) Hercílio Luz to the neighborhoods of the Itacorubidá basin, almost 50 paus.
In the rain
Passengers laughed when the Azul flight arrived last Monday, coming from Campinas, in the Hercílio Luz parking lot. In the absence of fingers, the airline attendants could have also missed the target when attaching the ladder to the aircraft door. Rainy day then, just with an umbrella!!! Shame!
